The REDI-MAG Combat and Competition Speed Loading System from the tactical division of Boonie Packer Products fits all .223 / 5.56mm AR-15 and M-16 rifles and carbines.

Taping two magazines together is not always a good idea,
the practice exposes spare ammunition to dirt and allows the top round in the spare magazine to jump forward when the weapon is fired. Standard pouches do not usually accept two magazines taped or clamped together. Also, clamps have been known to distort the walls of the magazines, causing malfunctions at a critical time.

The Redi-Mag eliminates all of the above disadvantages. It is also easily installed, with no modification to the weapon being necessary.
