The Safari-Tac also makes an excellent shooting sling. It has a loop that goes around the arm and a quickly adjustable buckle.

No part of the sling touches the barrel, so accuracy and zero are not affected.

Makes long hikes less tiring, as your rifle is slung at all times, yet ready to aim immediately. Just bring up the muzzle to aim, as the butt of the rifle is already at your shoulder.
